Mitsuro hikime - pendant wide wrap

Mitsuro Hikime - an ancient Japanese technique of pulling and folding warmed wax by hand, its flowing lines carried straight into cast metal.

In this piece those striations are used to accentuate the twist of the pendant as it winds around the chain/rope.
